MECHANICAL ENGINEERING PROGRAMME (B. Eng.)

Course description

Mechanical engineering is one of the most extensive and diverse branches of technological study. Mechanical engineers work on engineering systems that regulate and transform energy to satisfy humanity's requirements. Mechanical engineering students get a grasp of core themes and essential ideas that underpin the conception and development of designed systems in modern society. It provides a wonderful basis for a satisfying career in engineering as well as subsequent study in business, law, medicine, and other professions that demand a strong foundation in science and technology as well as problem-solving abilities. The mechanical engineering department is committed to graduating mechanical engineers who practice mechanical engineering in the general fields of thermal/fluid systems, mechanical systems and design, and materials and manufacturing in industry and government settings; pursue advanced education, research and development, and other creative efforts in science and technology; act responsibly, professionally, and ethically; and participate as leaders in science and technology.

Course description

The mechanical engineering faculty has defined seven learning objectives for students to achieve by the time they graduate from the program. These are the targets.
The ability to recognize, develop, and solve difficult engineering issues using engineering, scientific, and mathematics concepts.
The ability to use engineering design to create solutions that fulfill specific demands while taking into account public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic aspects.
The ability to successfully communicate with a variety of audiences.
The ability to understand ethical and professional duties in engineering problems and make educated decisions that must take into account the
